I really want to like this place, but I just can't find enough good about it. They don't focus enough on any one thing for it to stand out other than a large area with gaming tables for people to rent out. They have a little bit of everything and the usual mass of second hand CCG cards for sale. But never enough of one thing for you to find something specific. Their food selection is basic, the interior is in serious need of decorating and they don't even serve alcohol! XD

I didnt try the food. So this doesnt reflect that. The experience was very much ruined but the lack of management of the kids and teenagers running around during a Catan championship tournament and not a single member of staff said or did anything about it. If their policy is that its a space for teens to run round the tables swinging plastic swords and kids building and knocking over towers of scrabble tiles right next to where the tournament is going on. Then i guess thats a management decision. Hence not saying anything about it. Its their venue. But id go anywhere else if i wanted to play a game. As a shop, the selection of games was good. The final downside for me was its a strict vegan venue which means if you dont enjoy a vegan pallet. Which i and a number of others didnt. It wasnt very welcoming. To their credit, they did email everyone to tell them no food outside the venue to be eaten. But it also meant there was nothing aside from fizzy drinks and doritos available for us. The staff were ok. Not overly interested in people but then you could argue not intrusive if you didnt want a fuss. Overall, i personally wouldnt go back to play a game.

absolutely fantastic place to go, welcoming and friendly staff this little place since opening has helped develop my entire friendship group and social life beyond anything else. honestly so much fun, masses of board games to learn and staff take the time to tech you anything you need to know :)

Vegetarian options: The food is a vegan menu so for vegetarians the food is perfect, really nice foot and very affordable. Personally I love getting the garlic bread. Kid-friendliness: The staff are amazing with helping the younger players learn new games, they are happy to help. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lot of space, there are ramps for wheelchairs to go to the other half of the venue

I enjoyed my experience here overall. I did find the service a bit slow but overall it was good, they were pretty busy so it's definitely okay. The staff were helpful and friendly though. The tables and layout are good and there's an amazing selection of games, and I found their scoring system on the boxes with themes times and difficulties really helpful. The drinks were all great but I hated the food. I had a pizza that came out burnt but also lukewarm so went cold very quickly especially playing games, and was only okay while hotter and tasted awful cold. The chips and garlic bread were also just about okay, overpriced for very basic and not too nice food. Maybe it got cold because they were busy but I wouldn't eat here when we come back, we'll book and go out elsewhere afterwards. That being said, will definitely come back for tea and coffee, for games and the good atmosphere
