    I had a very upsetting experience at the DeBeauvoir Whole Foods today. When I was about to pay, the guy working at the check out asked me where I am from (as he could see from my foreign debit card that I am not from the UK). When I told him where I am originally from, he looked at me and said that he has been to my country and then – just out of the blue – insulted me that my folks are very unfriendly. I really struggle to go there again – although I really liked shopping there – as I am afraid to be racially abused by this unfriendly person, who ruined my shopping experience today!

    Avoid completely. Disorganised and cramped store, selling grossly overpriced food (including standard tinned food, milk, fresh produce, bread, etc. everything) by grumpy and rude staff who seem to think they are doing you a favour. Will they be sued by the real Wholefoods?
