  Found this place thanks to Google. We live SE London and made the decision to drive here to have a look. Our daughter wanted some bargain curtains for a wide lounge window in her first flat. Despite horrible wet weather driving here, (wondering why we were doing this feeling very doubtful), arrived to find we could either park on site (or right next door in Waitrose (and use their loos!) A very warm welcome beckoned us in from the rain and we were immediately advised that made to order and all accessories were within that building. Across the road however, we were shown the ready made premises, plus thousands - and I mean thousands (I think the charming gentleman said 6000?) rolls of fabrics. End of rolls, soft furnishing fabrics, ready made eyelet, pencil pleat curtains, those on offer, those with black out - what wasn’t there? Unbelievable find. Would highly recommend anyone to visit. All staff were exceptionally polite, knowledgeable, more than helpful, ready and willing. I wouldn’t hesitate to revisit or recommend. Even I came away with some new very smart seat fabric - and our daughter certainly picked up an amazing bargain!

  This rating is representative of how I've been left feeling after my experience of using the Curtain Factory Outlet. I went in to have a couple of bench cushions made by their upholsterer for my dining table benches. After explaining my project, Steve advised 10cm depth for the cushions. I provided all other measurements, including pictures of the benches. I assumed that this will have been an informed recommendation based on previous jobs of this nature, but have since been advised that this is what is recommended by them as standard for bench cushions. Unfortunately this was far too deep a cushion for a dining table benches. More akin to the depth of cushion used for sofas I have since been advised by others in the field. As a result I have spent a lot of money on bench cushions that are now unusable. Steve did offer a reduced price for me to have the cushions altered but this would have meant spending almost half the original cost of having the cushions made to have them altered. I asked if they might refund me a bit, perhaps just half of the profit made to lessen the blow, but was told this was not possible. During the process of my job being completed I noted a number of other things that led me to privately question this company's genuine care for the customer and attention to detail, but I let these thoughts pass: Namely 1. Being called in to pick up my order only to find that only one of the cushions had been made, and then waiting longer for both to be made. Lucky I live locally and was not in any kind of hurry so I let it pass. 2. Steve forgetting to refund me a £10 deposit for the sample material book I brought back, and when I asked about it, telling me he would add a note to the final invoice. This was not done when I came in a second time to pick up my cushions. This made for quite an uncomfortable conversation when I came in to pick up my order. 3. Coming to pick up my order an hour before the shop was closing and being told the shop was closing and ushered to not come in, until I said I was picking up an order. 4. Picking up the final order and the invoice being significantly wrong, in my favour! but me being truthful, pointing this out and paying the correct balance. No acknowledgement or thankfulness for this when a problem arose. You can tell when a business really cares and when it is really all about getting the order in. I consider myself a pretty rational and very fair person and at the end of the day I will chalk this down to experience. My peace of mind means more to me. I personally will not be using the Curtain Factory again nor recommending them.

  Excellent - Beautifully made curtains with a great deal of attention to the finish and hang. The fabric and fitting were competitively priced that included measuring, re-measuring once carpet in and re-cording of an existing curtain track to make functional. Dean, Dave and Martin pulled the stops out to enable us to have the curtains made and fitted before Christmas. We're delighted, Thank You all. Karen & Graham Clark

  I’ve called them yesterday regarding a product that I needed to have told me to come in and out told me that I have a great deal on after one hour of driving. I went there and the price they told me was extremely high. I will not return that ever again, which I find Customer Service very appealing.

  Purchased multiple curtains at this factory outlet. Mark has enormous amount of experience, and patiently explained the different type of curtain design to us.. The customer service was amazing and his manager ( don’t remember his name) was really helpful too. this place is so busy with so many customers and they were short if staff in 3 occasions that we visited. Defiantly recommend the management to hire more stuff as it’s impossible to manage customers expectation with 2/3 people working.
