An excellent dark ride, really enjoyed it! But preferred it as a shooting game (Duel). If they could bring it back the blasters then the ride would be awesome. It would keep enticing people to keep going on it again and again/ multiple times each time they visit Alton towers! Just need to set expectations before entering.

What with the long pointless queue line you’re made to go around. This ride is never going to have a queue that long. As for the ride itself much prefer Dual. What’s with the large sections of total darkness? The dolls look naff. Very poor.

This needs a huge warning on it, strobe lights and really inappropriate topics for children. The ride stopped for a full 10 mins as we were at the start by a hologram. I was with 2 small children who were told by the actors voicover to leave the kart, then told to stay in. With no light. Why didn't they just turn the lights on? Then when it finally started again my kids were shaking and wanted to just get off. It got worse and worse. A WARNING is needed. Utterly awful experience children should not be allowed on. I was looking forward to playing duel with them I've utterly mortified them. When we got off and I asked why we stopped I just got a laugh and a "sorry" no explanation!!?? It was horrible.

This desperately needs an age warning. NOT appropriate for children under the age of 14. There's no story line link and understanding of what is happening. It could have been more understandable if so, but as is, it's just a fear mongering ride. My niece was shaking afterwards as well as me, and she's 11. I know some children react differently to things and I know myself not to enjoy such rides however, it doesn't feel appropriate storyline for younger children.

I enjoyed it very much. Smiled the whole way through. Brought back memories from ghost trains when I was a kid. Not sure about all the bad reviews here. Not every ride at Alton needs to be thrilling. I thought it was fun

This is no longer a family pewpew ride, its an assault on the senses and for those under 10s I would give this an absolute miss unless you want them in tears. For anyone else, its not scary or entertaining. its just dumb, loud screaming coupled with a totally obnoxious light 'show'. Avoid even if its a 5 minute queue.
