Complete waste of time, empty surgery but apparently fully booked. Reception staff think there Dr's and when you ask to talk to a specific Dr as they know your records you have someone totally different contact you who doesn't know your history.

Not allowed to book dr appointments over the phone, not allowed to see Dr without seeing nurse who then says if you need a Dr and then you've got to go back to see said Dr. Completely pointless

Poor care, difficult to get appointments, little support for chronic illness I was a patient for eighteen years, with chronic illnesses that the GP partners failed to diagnose until I had developed severe complications. I thought I had found a decent GP in 2012, and placed my trust in her. However, I developed severe side effects from a drug I take for pain relief, and as she refused to refer me to appropriate specialists who could help with my underlying pathology, I ended up in 2018 with her prescribing a generic medication with which I had previously had severe problems and interactions. She said she would support me, but having seen her twice with the new meds, I found I could not get an appointment for three months, and as I developed problamatic side-effects, the only support the receptionists offered was eConsult. Subsequently, I became seriously Ill, was housebound, put on five stones in weight, developed problems with walking and breathing, and have suffered from dangerous social-interaction problems. I now have a new GP, and am withdrawing from the meds, which is why I am able to go on FB to ease my isolation. But my health has seriously deteriorated and I am now in a worse physical and mental situation than in 2012. Since Homewell merged with Curlew, there are now too many patients for the part-time GPs to cover, particularly regarding the long-term chronic care needed in the catchment area. The last time I saw my former GP, she was in a consulting room set up like a child's nursery, wearing red-and-white polka dot nail polish, and she treated me, an adult older than she, as though I was an ignorant and recalcitrant child, only listening to what she wanted to hear, and telling me the same, wrongful things her colleague had told me in 2000-5. If you suffer from chronic disease, do not register at this practice, although, to be fair, the GPs' acute care is excellent and the practice has a good nursing team. But Homewell's poor chronic illness support makes it a danger to those who need treatment for complex, life-long, but expensive and incurable diseases, and they only want such patients to access services on eConsult, which is often inappropriate.

This surgery is so bad I’m surprised it’s not be reported and closed down, i’ve ended up in hospital because of the surgery many of times they have not given me an appointment or not helped me, i’ve witnessed doctors and the receptionist lie, i’ve had doctors laugh in my face. This weeks problem is I had a operation on Monday and need a sicknote they have told me that I have no choice but to go down there if I want one to fill out forms, but I’m bed bound unable to move much, I have heard of people dying because of a certain doctor here (it was also in the news) and have witnessed myself how they treat patients who need desperate treatment, even the hospital is starting to have a enough with this doctors Surgery As soon as I’m better I’m leaving it’s affecting my mental health being treated this way
