  I’ve been here a few months and I must say so far so good . I feel like I’m listened to and involved in decisions pertaining to my care which is important to me as a patient (my previous GPs were a far cry from that ) I know the system is within the nhs is far from perfect but at cuckoo lane practice they clearly try their best within this frame work plus everyone is very polite

  Cuckoo Lane Practice is an abominable GP. Please for the love of god do not sign up for these people or attend the practice. I was told yesterday by the gp that there were medications waiting for me at my pharmacy, which was not true. The pharmacy, not the gp, told me they’d call me within 3 - 4. They called me an hour after, when I was at work, extremely busy, and then didn’t try again until the surgery had already closed. When I called today to try and fix this, they told me there was nothing they could do but book me into another practice. I am going to go into withdrawal because of these people and their negligence. I had no communication from the practice for months regarding my medication, and then they suddenly stopped issuing it, and when I called, they blamed me, and insisting it was my fault for not keeping in touch with them. My pharmacy had tried to contact them for weeks regarding it, as they were very understanding of my hectic work schedule. My gp stopped issuing me my meds, allowing me to go into withdrawal, and then set an appointment to a week later where I didn’t have enough meds to see me through. Their complaints page on their website is also missing, probably because so many people were issuing complaints. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have an issue with this awful place. I cannot express how little these people care about you and your health. The doctors are utterly disrespectful and take no kinds of responsibility for their lack of communication and care. The receptionists are tired and frustrated. At no point did I feel cared for by my practice, or like they wanted to help.

  Dr. Kyriaki Sonidou is so rude towards patient and very unprofessional . Please Avoid! Everyone else at Cuckoo lane practice are kind and lovely. I revised my review to 4 star, 1 star for Dr. Sonidou, 5 star for the rest of team. I had a blood test with Nurse associate Christopher shaw this morning. He is so kind, gentle, professional. Definitely worth the 5 star

  I went with my lityle daughter for a blood test and they lost the simple, so I have to repeat and go through a very unpleasant experiencia again. Very disappointed with the service and outcome.

  I booked an appointment a week ago to see a Doctor face to face, but when I check in today, I was told no appointment for me can be found in the system. At the time of booking the reception said I will receive a confirmation but I've never received it (this happened before). There must be something wrong in this Practice: 1. how a booked appointment could disappear? 2. Why the confirmation message not coming through? The good thing is I've got a new appointment with 3 confirmation messages (received 10min or longer later) after sending me 5. ~~~ 3 stars given ~~~ Following the appointment, the doctor referred me for an ultrasound scan and told me I should receive response in 1 or 2 weeks. However over 3 weeks passed nothing happened. So I phoned the reception but was told there is no refer (??!!) so a message was left for the doc coming next week. The good thing is a few hours later I was told to book the scan time ... (something must happened and good!). During the scan I sensed the result is not good so right after the scan I booked to see the doc the nearest appointment which is 3 weeks away . The good thing is a few days later the reception called me and offered me to move the appointment 2 weeks early. During the appointment I found out it was Carol who after seeing my scan report decided I should be seen earlier. I must say it was very considerate and caring for Carol to move my appointment earlier, really appreciated. 5 stars! ~~~ overall, I gave the practice 4 stars ~~~

  If you ever get treated appallingly by a hospital, don’t expect any support from this surgery. They will instead blame you for getting upset. Their loyalty is to defend their incompetent colleagues of the NHS rather than fight for you. I used to bring this surgery huge Christmas cakes every year and wine at Christmas to show appreciation just for doing their job. I stupidly thought that if you treated people well, they will treat you well. But when the Central Middlesex hospital, failed time and again to process and dispense my vital medications through their incompetence, and as a result I always ended up in horrendous pain, and life threatening symptoms requiring blood transfusions in hospital, there was no help from this surgery. Instead this surgery will demonise the patient who complains. A shameful betrayal of their patient. I have no doubts this surgery will now try to demonise me, though the Hospital itself has since apologised profusely in writing, for letting me down so badly. It’s easier to blame and demonise the patient, than to take on the malpractice and incompetence of their NHS colleagues.
