Whilst sitting here in the waiting room I’m getting my head around the following: To get a confirmation letter with a wet signature of registration for my heavily pregnant wife, this surgery want £25 as it is “out of scope of the NHS service”. As a Dentist who has committed years to the NHS, and suffered along with the rest of the profession through the pandemic, I am appalled. Unfit for service and no interpersonal care.

To be fair, when you do get to see a doctor, they are great, although you never see the same one twice. The main issue is the inability to get an appointment. Whether is is an emergency or not, the rules are the same. Phone at 8am and wait in a queue for an hour, only to be told that there are no appointments. If you wish to see a doctor about the mundane it is the same deal...take an emergency appointment, away from someone else. Very, very frustrating.

It is impossible to book an appointment. I waited 1h and 20 minutes on the phone only to be told there are no available places. It was day number 3 to make it more interesting. What is more, as I needed to go to work risk my life and I was also told it is not emergency and the doctor will not call me back. Hiding behind the protocol is what they do. Apparently, you need to have plenty of time and stamina to be able to make an appointment.

Rang my surgery and got the usual covid message, then 'please hold the line as we transfer you to the operator'. After several minutes of silence, I was cut-off. I rang again (and again) and the same thing happened. Clearly they don't want patients to call and this is an easy way of avoiding them - blame it on technology! Totally useless surgery. I then looked at all the other reviews and almost everybody agrees that while the doctors are great, it's simply impossible to see them because the front end reception/online booking/telephone service is so totally inept. I'm sorry to say that this surgery is mismanaged and should be closed. It's a pity because the doctors are great (been going there 20 years), it's just that it is almost impossible to see them.

As number 47 in the queue, I have just spent over an hour waiting to speak to a receptionist only to be inexplicably cut off. I tried to phone again but I am number 30 in the queue. Simply not good enough.

I want to give 0 star but Giving one star. Asked for an emergency Asthma pump prescription at 9am and till 1:30 they were waiting for doctor to sign. I will be flying with long journey and daughter lost pump and didn't tell me. Now I have 2 hour window and still no sign of doctor signing that prescription. If I didn't receive this I will be doing 11 hour flight journey with hell lot of tension and trauma.
