The Crest is a spacious, comfortable house with a large garden suitable for family get togethers. It is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need from tin openers to toys. We had a lovely three generation break and enjoyed eating together at the large dining table. Our toddler enjoyed producing cups of tea in the play house. Would definitely stay again

Wonderful midweek stay at the Crest with 3 generations of our family celebrating my 70th birthday. Lots of things to do and we would like to have extended our stay. Close to Paultons Park,Winchester and Portsmouth where we had great days out. We would like to have explored more of the local area and hope to return again soon.

We’ve had a wonderful 3 nights in Droxford. The Crest has everything you could wish for….it’s light and airy ….offers comfortable living space and good sized bedroom. We enjoyed a meal at the village pub and had tea at the local church tearoom…..with some pretty Springtime walks in the vicinity. All highly recommended!

We could tell from photos that The Crest was going to be lovely, but photos don’t really do it justice. We arrived at nearly midnight on the first day, and the house was pure comfort and magic. Warm, spotless, so much character and everything you need for an effortlessly easy/relaxing time. Beds super comfy, kitchen had EVERYTHING! Every thing has been considered to make guests feel as relaxed and at home as possible. Jo’s communication leading to our stay exceeded all expectations, she makes everything so easily accessible and answers all questions, and also there when needed in the week. The area is perfect, so quiet, in a lovely tiny quaint village with two brilliant pubs. We left saying The White Horse was the nicest English pub we’ve been in for years. Loads of places are close by, places to walk, shop, explore. We are parents to two little ones and for the first time got a babysitter in, I can HIGHLY recommend Tanya, ask Jo for details! It meant my husband and I could have a peaceful pub lunch and the boys loved her, my eldest talked about her for a good few days after! All in all- left The Crest feeling like our souls had had a little tonic. Can’t recommend enough and I hope to return.

We had a fabulous time at the Crest the weekend before Christmas having had to cancel the year before because of Covid rrestrictions. Three generations of 6 adults and 3 children aged 5, 7 & 10 years celebrating together again. The house and annexe provided perfect accomodation which was comfortable, spacious and extremely well equipped. Jo was the perfect host, helpful but not intrusive. Due to rise in Covid numbers we chose not to leave the house, except for a walk along a disused railway line at Droxford, but the garden provided opportunities for ball games and hide and seek and the house had 2 sitting rooms with a TV in each and a nintendo box (happy grandson). We could not fault any aspect of the weekend - even the weather was kind to us. Thank you Jo

We stayed over Christmas 2021 and had a lovely time. There was a lot of space and the facilities were great. We did a lot of cooking for 10 of us and we had all we needed. Jo was a great host and kept in touch well. Highly recommended
