Rooms: 2 star max. our room 317 was just not fit for any stay. horrible location next to very busy duel carriageway away from main facility. laud noise from room above. very bad lighting. no way to see yourself in bathroom mirror. too dack. too bright bed side lamps. ended up opening curtains over night to see a bit, but not being blinded by bright lights. not working bath, jets broken. called to find out how they worked. were just lied about it by staff. water was dripping down from ceiling into bath tab whole night. no tea making facility. we run away from that horrow chamber at 8am into main house. happy anniversary to us, long awaited break. JUST DO NOT RISK IT. Safety: very dusty in the room. scary to breath. it was sunny morning. I placed here a picture of the air above the bed. TV is hung on the way from sleeping room to bath area. not watchable and not safe. if you watch it going to bed and need toilet in the middle of the night, can just walk into a tv. watch for stress risk. staff plays nasty games over the phone, first pretending they cannot hear you, then accusing of shouting when you speak a bit launder, then harassing by calling but not answering any questions just repeating "you should not shout at our staff" and "we will not talk to you". I saw these games played by proffessional black mailers and crucks. this is the place where staff does this to you. £500 a night service for your 2 star stay. Food & drinks: do not book bed with dinner. they mess you up giving 5.30pm as only available dinner time demanding to vacate at 7.30, presumably leaving all good slots to external bookings for people who do not stay. book Thai not English, not for food. English restaurant is in horrible dusty empty room next to external entrance and the bar. noisy music not of good choice. Thai is in designer inner space with both indoor and outdoor. billing is not transparent. no copy left to customers. check what you are being charged for. Noteworthy details: horrible staff. lied to our faces 4 times over one night stay. messed up with our dinner time. we were given 5.30 as only option because booked a package for stay and dinner. better time left for external customers. tried to clarify over phone. was made a subject of standard scam over the phone - first "I cannot hear you" (yet "it is not my fault" so must if head something), then "you are too laud", then "you are rude to our staff, we will not talk to you". 3 times repeated my problem, no reaction, no help. then lies over phone that Thai restaurant is busy. but both were EMPTY at 7pm!! we booked without knowing what is where, asked to change seating, were told it is OK, not given any other options and placed under laud speaker in completely empty place at 7.30 with a lot of other seating available whole night. only walking to the room found it is not in main building but facing noisy road and surrounded by residential houses next doors in wall to wall terrace. nothing was shown in the room, while controls are electronic and far from obvious. no info inside the room how they work. no tea making, in spite the place clearly was prepared for it at the entry to that house turned into 5 bedrooms. bath tab in our room was broken. we called to ask how to turn on jets. got a lie that they come up automatically. waited for 8 hours. obviously they were just broken. but WHOLE NIGHT water was dripping from ceiling into the bath tab. try to sleep!

There is ample parking for every part of the Crazy Bear experience. The service is fantastic and the staff are very good at what they do. The food doesn't let them down either. We had the seven course taster menu, which was stunning. The main menu also looked lovely and we will be back to try that for some very important occasion soon.

We love it here. Anka is fabulous. We didn't see her thus time sadly. We were served / helped by a lady with a Yorkshire accent in the GLASS HOUSE on this visit . She was lovely and very efficient ( I'm sorry I didn't get her name. ) We had Sunday lunch and there was a singer too, great music great food, great service. The changes to the venue and the gardens are really great!
