FAQ

What types of handicrafts are taught in your school?

We offer a wide range of handicraft courses, including knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing, painting, and much more. Students can choose the course that interests them the most and learn the skills required to create beautiful handicrafts.

What is the duration of the courses offered in your school?

The duration of our courses varies depending on the type of handicraft. Some courses are shorter and can be completed in a few weeks, while others may take several months to complete. We also offer weekend workshops and evening classes for those who are unable to attend during the day.

What materials do you use to create your handicraft products?

We use a variety of materials to create our handicrafts, including yarn, fabric, paints, and beads. We provide all the necessary materials for our courses, and students can also purchase additional materials from our craft store.

Are there any opportunities for practical experience or internships through your school?

Yes, we offer practical experience and internships to our students. Our courses are designed to provide hands-on experience, and we encourage our students to practice their skills outside the classroom. We also work with local businesses and organizations to provide internships for our students.

How long does it typically take to receive a custom order?

The time it takes to receive a custom order depends on the complexity of the project and the availability of materials. Absolutely dreadful experience with sanctuary students and living at this building. Sadly google doesn't allow zero stars, otherwise i'd give it. Due to the way the sanctuary students team treated me and the experiences living in their halls, I developed anxiety attacks. I had to be prescribed anxiety medication despite never having any prior experience with needing medicine for mental health in the past 20 years. The rooms are as small as a jail cell yet they think it's worth paying nearly 10k to stay in. Nevermind the fact that the building is in an absolute state and is going to fall apart any time meaning that there's work being done every single day and you'll receive emails every single day saying that they need access to your room for whatever reason to carry out work. My flatmate literally had her laptop damaged due to water leakage from the shower in the flat above. I consistently would not have working hot water and the radiator would not work. If that wasn't enough, they consistently lie to your face about information. I asked to be let out of my contract as i was suffering from consistent anxiety attacks (which i had proof of btw) and the manager Joanne Bell lied to me that i would be let out of my contract and allowed to move out, yet i did not receive any follow up and they ignored every email i sent afterwards asking for an update. If you're going to stay at this place expect that they will care more about getting every single penny out of you rather than caring about student mental health. Yet they put on 'mental health week' events as if they care at all yet they treat the students that stay with them like cash cows. Absolutely horrid management. I'd rather spend a year in a jail cell than at these halls ever again. I'd probably be treated with more dignity.

This overpriced student's residence that is sold as luxurious and exclusive is not what it seems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Windows can't be opened for there might be thefts. I find dead pigeons all over the place as well as rats. I've been robbed twice near the residence at midday. I feel completely unsafe where I'm supposed to be like home. Not a single supply is offered: not towels, nor basic kitchen supplies, nor hangers, nor even free WiFi. The fridge doesn't work. Its broken. Perhaps all its cold is transmited to people as that would explain the extremely unfriendly attitude from literally anyone I've encountered. All in all this was a huge disappointment, even more given the price I paid for it.

This place is like the unwanted child of sanctuary students. I think INTO should inspect more of the accommodation which they are suggesting. The pictures and info about this place may be misleading. The picture of the room you see is a studio room which also has a kitchen and is bigger than other rooms. If you are not getting the studio room, your room is going to be smaller. Windows do not open more than 5-8 cm in my room and also blinds are locked. You will have no reception in your building, it is in an another building. Until we requested we didn't even have access to the other building, they provided us with key afterwards. There is 1 dryer and 1 washer in the building, is not enough. If you ask, you are told to use the one in Don Gratton House, I am sorry but I was told washer available onsite. It is normally a decent room for a student but over priced for the service. Also the entrance is used as a bathroom for some drunk or homeless people. This is my experience staying here. I wouldn't have regret it, if I think I received my moneys worth.

The worst place ever, extremely unkind impolite staffs sitting at reception. No soundproof between rooms. Very tiny room unlike picture shown on the website. Please you should think deeply whether to live here.
