Great place, I volunteered here with my work but to see the effort and care behind the scenes was really nice and couldn't praise the place more. They also sell clothes as well which are in very good condition at amazing prices so would recommend a visit for that alone.

They sounded very nice and are going to help me just as soon as they can. With there help I hope to have a warm night ahead soon. No heat , no bedding so its really hard with my heart , spinal and pancriatic conditions to get by. I'm really suffering and it's tough and frightening, literally. I never thought I wud be worrying about dieing in my home because i have no heat, never but I do now. Food I can do with out despite that being hard but the lack of heating really scares me. Despite being older and disabled, Reading Borough Council have said that I am not entitled to any help from the Household Support Fund. Thay gave me no help from the first allocation of the fund and now no help with the 2nd allocation, saying they are giving all the money to FAMILIES and some PENSIONERS. Thats not equal and fair. Nothing more I can do. Iv reached out so far i cant see my hand anymore, but got no help from that and i dnt know who else to reach out to. Thanks and I look forward to sny help cowshed can give. I have to thank readifood for putting me in touch with the Cowshed based in Hurst.
