I thankfully found Luke in May 2020 - having unsuccessfully requested help through the NHS for the previous 3 months. Upon searching, I was adamant on having a young, male therapist who I would be able to relate to and be comfortable with. In Luke, I found that immediately. His distinguished work in the NHS made him far more appealing and trustworthy and, although I was desperate for the help, was conscious of the minefield that paid therapy can be. What I found with Luke is an honest, compassionate practitioner and family man. Not only do I credit Luke with helping me save my life but allowing me to grow and develop my own emotional resilience and awareness to become a better son, partner and friend. Additionally, Luke’s honesty throughout the therapy, which lasted the best part of 9 months virtually over Google Meet, allowed me to trust his judgement when he felt I was able to cope without his intervention: at no point did I feel he was considering the money, but only helping me. Naturally I was afraid to reduce the weekly sessions, but Luke was flexible enough to accommodate fortnightly sessions and reduce intervention that way. I always feel as if he is there should I need him and feel that the door will always be open with him and The Couch. I would not hesitate in recommending Luke to anybody seeking help. He is a great practitioner, and an even better person. Thank you for everything, Luke!

I had many sessions with Luke who helped me learn more about myself and how to manage my anxiety. He is awesome! Highly recommended - go get therapy!

Hi. If you've come this far, you or someone you know probably needs psychotherapy (and the NHS has let you down because the Tories don't fund it properly). Get it. Get the therapy. Sell stuff to pay for it. Borrow on the street for it. Here's one vignette from my sessions with Dr Luke Sullivan: "Emotional pain is the Mike Tyson of pain." Luke turns you into James Buster Douglas. Look it up. Connect, commit.
