The exterior and the lobby of the hotel are beautiful but the rooms are very old. We are not too picky, when we travel sometimes we know that we won't be spending much time in the room because we are busy exploring the destination, but the rooms here we so bad, especially the bathroom. We were here in April so it was chilly/cold and it was so stuffy in the room because you can't open the window, they have a tiny fan so that helped alittle. The bathroom not only looked old, rusty and dirty but the ventilation system makes SO MUCH NOISE evreytime we turned on the lighting in the bathroom. I do have to say that there was hot water 24/7 and the room was pretty spacious. Hyde Park is right outside its door and there are many buses that pass by the hotel. Breakfast wasn't too bad either! Staff was very friendly.

Het ontbijt is niet super de luxe, maar gewoon prima. Groot pluspunt is de ligging van het hotel. Bus stopt voor het hotel en metro ligt op ca 100 meter van het hotel. Met metro of bus ben je binnen 10 minuten in het Centrum. Wat ook heel fijn is, dat het hotel recht tegenover het Kensington parc ligt. Prachtig park om in te wandelen! Ik heb iig genoten van de midweek Londen in de mei vakantie en vooral van de Italian Garden in het Kensington parc. Echt een aanrader. Food & drinks: In de wijk van het Hotel (vlak bij Notting Hill) zijn prima restaurants.
