This sham of a hotel is contravening trading standards and the health and safety act. There were NO pillowcases or towels when we arrived. We were told there was a late delivery - this was a lie. We went to the theatre and came back to find nothing had changed and no one could do anything about it. The 'plasma' tv (as advertised) was actually an led tv. There was no milk for tea or coffee, cracks in the bathroom floor and flaking paint on the ceiling. We left at 23.30 having booked a travel lodge in Whitechapel - but I WILL be pushing for a full refund and will be reporting them to trading standards and H&S exec. This is absolutely NOT A 4* HOTEL - it does not even deserve one star apart from the historical interest and proximity to Little Venice (which is gorgeous!) DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! Rooms: Horrendous

Oh dear - what hotel doesn't have pillow cases and towels?! This one!! The response- delayed laundry. We will bring them later was the response. (This was at 4pm). 11pm - still none. Another person said he would check all rooms. He was in reception on the phone when we checked out having not stayed the night... At least if stained pillows have pillowcases when you arrive you would have no idea what you were putting your head on....! The rooms do NOT look like the pictures. A hotel should at least have pillow cases to serve the checked in guests. I am not one to complain - I resist causing a fuss. I complained and caused a fuss here!

We stayed for 2 nights , although at first they struggled to provide the rooms good to go, but then the receptionist guy took care of it. tbh i was about to fight when went downstairs and i saw the receptionist guy was talking German with other guests and he was trying his bests, so i calmed down went back later to my room he already put pillow cases and towels.

Rooms: Stayed in room 31. Bedroom clean, bathroom needs some updating, shabby in places but usable, toiletries provided and plenty of towels, just needs a little TLC, TV worked and air con was great ! Walkability: Two minutes from Warwick avenue underground and approx 5 minute walk to the canal and little Venice, plenty of eateries around, in a pleasant area Food & drinks: Breakfast continental and a good choice, topped up when running low, breakfast room clean and unique

I booked this hotel because of its location and posted pictures. I don’t know where those pictures were taken, but it wasn’t at this property. The rooms were in a heavy state of disrepair, no towels, not pillowcases or bedspreads, furniture falling apart. The elevator didn’t go up to the third floor an cannot possibly have passed any kind of a safety inspection. I DO NOT recommend this property to anyone planning a stay in the Kensington area. The General Manager was conveniently off site so there was no refund. The only reason I gave them one star was because negative numbers aren’t available. This is textbook false advertisement!

AVOID AVOID AVOID We were transferred to this hotel after our other hotel was under renovations. It seems the two hotels are sister hotels are both as disgusting as each other. The whole hotel smelt of damp and is so unclean. The furniture is tired, dirty and mouldy. The wallpaper is stained and hanging off the wall. Previous guests have obviously been smoking in the rooms causing an awful smell on top of the mould damp smell. The sheets were clean but underneath the pillows and mattresses were absolutely filthy. Electrical sockets hanging off the wall, tiny single rooms and bathrooms were dirty. As we were walking out the hotel, a local that lived in the area stopped us to warn us. He advised us to immediately leave the hotel and go find somewhere else to stay. The local tourist board has been trying to shut this place down for years apparently as it’s run by crooks. Reports of guests constantly having their possessions stolen and reports of money laundering. This is obviously why the place is an absolute state and they don’t mind deceiving their customers with pictures online that look nothing like their rooms!! After an hour of our arrival, we checked out. The only positive I can find in this experience was the staff. The lady at the reception was very pleasant. It is my advice to her to find it in herself to leave and get a job a decent hotel as her politeness and good attitude were far too good for such a horrible, run down, disgrace of a business.

I was wary when I booked this hotel but just stayed for two nights and not as bad as everyone makes out, the faćade is stunning and great location to warrick avenue tube station . Yes the hotel is a little dated but our room and linen was clean . May have had a different experience than others but really not that bad and was pleasant enough for our stay Walkability: Great proximity to tube station

Avoid at all costs. Leaking roof, drafty windows, dirty and worn out furniture, curtains and bed. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 1/5 | Location : 1/5 … More

(Translated by Google) Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It is laughable that this would be a four star hotel. There is really no positive point to mention. Here is a summary of what we found: - disinterested staff -very poorly maintained (sagging ceiling, wallpaper off the wall, everything in your room is broken) toilet doesn't flush windows cannot be opened - dirty rooms -shower has 1 temperature, uncomfortably hot. heating cannot be turned off air conditioner not working -no ventilation -very mediocre breakfast, little choice and no taste. This hotel should not even have 1 star.

We chose this hotel for its location and rate. When approaching the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the building and the reception. When you go beyond the reception area and start going up the stairs, this is a different story. The decor is dated, walls damp and when we got to our room on the 3th floor; it was no different with dated, damaged furniture/decor, stains on the bed base. The mattress was too soft to have a proper night of sleep and we woke up with a back pain. The hotel has clearly a lot of potential; but certainly needs a proper overall refreshment. Area is quite so perfect to rest after a busy day, staff was friendly and breakfast was provided which was a good surprise providing that we were not expecting one at all.
