Stayed the weekend FOR SLAM DUNK festival and we had a great time here at the Fox. Chilled drinks the evening before and a quality breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. Staff very professional, friendly and polite and handled us gently the morning after, which I was really appreciative for, along with the extended check out hours! Thanks to all the team at the Fox, who made us very welcome, we'll see you again next year!

Nice pub/ restaurant with reasonable selection of food great helpful and friendly staff. Coped well with a party of 9 with 2 less able guests. Only downside was that on most of the main meals the vegetables were not a hot as they should have been. Seem to have been plated before the main was ready.

Very calm atmosphere with some really nice seating arrangements.I ordered the lasagne with a side salad.The lasagne was the best I have ever had.There were no exotic drinks but that really doesn’t matter.For my dessert I had banofee pie this was honestly the best dessert I have ever had and I truly felt that it should be a large recommendation for anyone who wants a sweet yet balanced dessert. I will come here again.

That was my second time in your place and I definitely come again every time I am in England anywhere near. I am from Germany to visit friends living in Napsbury. I wanted to go to a typical English Restaurant /PUB, which (in my opinion) yours is. Nice facility, very friendly service and the food was lovely too.

First visit to The Colney Fox for lunch yesterday and we were very impressed. Really nice old building, good atmosphere, great beer and food was excellent! (especially the scallop and king prawn in cheese sauce starter). We will absolutely be returning when we are next in the area!

We live local and over the years the food is hit or miss. Unfortunately once again it was a big miss. Ordered 5 meals and sent back 4 as they were really poor quality (chicken pies with no fillings). The staff were very good though and did not charge for the meals, but unfortunately we were only there for the meals
