Had the most fantastic night out at the Cockatoo Club. Went with 11 friends was first in but omg were we glad we got there early it was rammed an hour later. Thoroughly entertained all night special mention to Belinda followed her for years soo much fun. Lovely bar will be going again. Thanks everyone

Dreadful experience! If there was the chance to give a title for it, it would be in the lines of "How a single staff member can ruin the reputation for the all Business". I met the Manager of The Cockatoo Club once, and I found him to be a very genuine & positive person who is trying his best to make this place successful, but also respectful & friendly with everyone, nobody excluded!! Last night, I went there with 3 friends and we experienced all the opposite: an unwelcoming & obnoxious staff member, ginger, with tattooed arms and wearing a black T-Shirt, did not seem particularly interested in having 4 more Customers in. Maybe because of an already ongoing Quiz Night (in that case, you should put a sign at the entrance), or most probably because he did not think we were "material" for The Cockatoo. I am saying this because he "welcomed" (that's a stretch, hence the " ") with a rude, but very effective: "This is not the place that lets everyone in!". WOW! Please remember this when you are looking, and even fighting, for acceptance out there... you cannot blame other people for not being tolerant, when you are the first one using shields and possibly building walls. All 4 of us had a great night (cinema + restaurant) until our visit to The Cockatoo Club: luckily, this was our LAST one, and we will be sharing with friends about it. I feel sorry for the Manager of the Club, but maybe he would have to reconsider the process when hiring staff.

Disappointed tonight lads. Remanded for A little bit of audience participation. Poor do, in my book. I was really feeling the spirit but then that happened. Didn't stay for the rest of the entertainment. Shame, because always had a good night previously. But I don't normally visit on a Tuesday night. One to avoid.
