Great English pub, set in beautiful countryside. Lovely outdoor garden, dog friendly (free dog bickies) . Very nice walk start in pub carpark, couple of km to small river. Come back and chill with a pint or wine. Perfect!

Had a roast very in adequate must say flavour was. Nice however portion was measly the meat portion was so small and not a lot of vegetables for £18 the clever way they hid this under the giant Yorkshire pudding !!! Such a lovely idyllic place came away hungry and really disappointed service was rushed !!!! Food was very inconsistent crumble of the day was de constructed and rushed and portion sizes varied ? I have read so many brilliant comments on this pub and am disappointed hopefully just a bad day x
