This is a village shop and post office. It sells all the basics, a good selection of fresh baked goods, fruit and vegetables. It has a good selection of beers and wines. The staff are helpful and friendly. The post office can get very busy.

The manager George was incredibly rude. I went in to post a parcel, once handing the parcel over i mentioned that the parcel needed to be tracked as the value of the parcel was very high! Due to me already handing over the parcel to him he adamantly refused to track the parcel. When I explained how I would be losing a lot of money and that the parcel was literally sat right next to him and it would only take a minute he refused again insisting that it was my own fault for not mentioning in the first place. You’d think for such a small request that ultimately lost me over £200 that it would be made. I asked to speak to the manager to which he explained he was, in a managerial position this could have been handled much better, despite the loss to the parcel ultimately the way he spoke to me was disgusting and I will not be returning to this co op or any other.

It's my local coop, but I generally avoid going here. The staff can be quite rude. I've had a staff member ID me for a red bull when I'm 26, wouldn't usually mind but she was pretty blunt with me.

There is a couple of the male members of staff at the Rowledge store that urgently need to go on a customer service course or even better be sat down and taught basic manners!! I’m stunned at how miserable some of you are, you just ignore customers, or neglect to say please or thank you! If working with people is so hard for you maybe reconsider you career options??
