I booked a private session at the Clay Garden as a birthday gift a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very glad I did. The studio itself is beautiful and welcoming, just a short walk from Hammersmith station. Our instructor Anat was wonderful, giving us helpful advice, but also the freedom and encouragement to make whatever we wanted to make on the wheel. In the end, we each made 3 pots that we are really proud of and we can't wait to see them once they're glazed. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a few more glazes to choose from next time. Thanks!

I took the 5 week course and it was absolutely amazing! Learned so much from the talented Eugene and ended up making some pieces that I gifted or used. The studio space itself is relaxing and laid-back, and all the artists and staff are all very. Shona was also super helpful and pleasant when I booked the course and when I had to rebook a glazing session when I missed mine. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning pottery!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mada. What a lovely way to spend 2 hours - We left in such great moods. Neither of us had handled clay before but Mada was such a great tutor and guided us through the process whilst keeping it really fun. Great to know places like this in our local area. Will definitely be returning.

Myself and 5 work colleague had a brilliant team away day at The Clay Garden yesterday. We had a 2hr private lesson with Eugene, who was very patient with us all, as for much of us this we our first experience of doing pottery. The venue was perfect, very relaxed. The lesson was extremely good and we all managed to make 3/4 pieces. Pottery is much harder than it looks, but Eugene was there to guide and help us. Thank you Eugene and Thank you to the Clay Garden for a brilliant session. Would highly recommend you to anyone.
