When I call for the city council staff concerning the council tax exemption of international students and my spouse, they admit our full exemption. I would appreciate their kindness and support from the Scotland government.

One of the worst council services I have experienced. Several issues, one being the horrific roads in Edinburgh, it's embarrassing how awful it is and I am sure so many car tyres wrecked! Litter in the city is atrocious especially on the outer regions, people tipping in the beautiful countryside. The amount of ROAD WORKS are shocking, road closures, diversions, I have never seen the like and the roads still look awful and rubbish to drive on! Feels like a council does not exist or the wrong people are in charge of the city. It's all about tourism and money, not about the people of the city. The extortionate prices we pay on council tax, where does it go?! I called the council regarding housing, I have been waiting 5 weeks for a reply, managed to get a man on the line after 40 mins waiting, his tone, unfriendly, rude and not professional at all. Spoke over me too. Just horrendous level of service. I could go on and on but things will probably only get worse as the years go on.
