Agree with your assessment of their greed. Their tenants damaged my property and the Church Commissioners spent so long arguing about providing compensation that I could not sell my property as I wished to do and had to pay for the repairs myself. Now they have decided to sell the adjoining land and no-one wants to buy the property because of what they are planning for the land. These are truly despicable people

Church Commissioners are greedy. The village of S. Hill, in County Durham agreed to give up their Green for a new housing project, in return for a new Village Community Centre. But the Church Commissioners had some ancient Tenure Rights to the land the Village Green was on, so they laid a claim for payment of Rights, which in turn caused a shortfall in the budget to build the new Community Centre. So, villagers lost their much loved Green to the Housing Builders [Keepmoat], and never got their new Community Centre built, because a considerable amount of its budget went to pay the Church Commissioners's Land Rights instead. And these are people who called themselves Christians?... I called them shameless greedy executioners against the interests of the People.
