After hearing really great things it was a very disappointing visit down to poor service - One drink from our order took 40 mins to arrive (rum and lemonade) and each time we asked for an update not once did someone apologise. We had our starters arrive first and then when it eventually came the drink was put on the table without a word. We also ordered additional beers in between which arrived swiftly and again before the first drink. When our starters came out, so did 1 out of our 2 ordered rices however, our mains didn’t come out for a further 30 minutes. We sent back the first rice as it had been sat there for 5 minutes and it came back out again clearly microwaved and were told our mains were coming. We then sent it back again as our mains were no where to be seen which we are glad we did as the rest of the food didn’t come out for a further 15 minutes. The food itself was great and very tasty. At the end of the meal no offer was made to rectify the situation, they hadn’t even taken off the rum and lemonade or apologised for anything that had happened. Overall I won’t be back in a rush due to this visit, neither will the rest of the group.

Have been to Chilli Pickle many time and the food is always excellent - this time was no exception. We had a variety of dishes which had the right amount of spice and taste. The portions were also good - would thoroughly recommend
