2/3 stars. The food was delicious - a party of 8 having a mixture of seafood/fish and Beef Wellington. Lovely wine and tableware. Lovely surroundings. What spoilt our experience was that the service was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Most odd. We were a happy family celebrating our son’s 29th which they were aware of. We were seated in a corridor area for service with the tableware counter behind us and continually disrupted by staff going past us to and fro. It was unfortunate but hey ho sometimes one can be unlucky with seating areas. It was the downright unfriendliness - bizarre. We all felt we were an unwelcome nuisance. We enjoyed ourselves because it was a special event and times are too precious together to let that sort of thing impact. Thank you for a lovely meal - hope whatever is affecting staff morale improves.

I've had several meals here over the years. It's always been good. They love their food here and it shows. It's reassuringly expensive. Lots of seafood specials available. Great to see a seafood paella as a starter! Our last visit was a birthday celebration and there were 16 of us spread across two tables. The restaurant was very busy yet they managed to plate everyone efficiently without a hiccup. Everyone loved the food. Can't wait to go back.
