We were traveling on an old T3 bus that had problems reversing shortly after the ferry. We had already found a workshop nearby that we wanted to hit up if we were lucky. Leanne said on the descent that Simon is a mechanic and that his friend Pit would be there soon. The problem was found quickly, but unfortunately it was bigger... gearbox damage... Pit and Simon actually managed to get us a spare part and install it a day later. We can't say thank you enough!!! Even without "damage" the place is beautiful, everything is neat and clean. A great playground in the middle of the square and as a small highlight there is an "enchanted forest" to discover. You can tell with how much love Leanne and Simon run the place. We'll definitely be back! (Original) Hier haben wir ein echtes Schätzchen gefunden, dass wir definitiv jedem empfehlen können! Leanne und Simon haben uns denn Urlaub gerettet, der schon ganz am Anfang zum Scheitern drohte. Wir waren mit einem alten T3-Bus unterwegs, der kurze Zeit nach der Fähre Probleme beim rückwärts fahren machte. Wir hatten schon eine Werkstatt in der Nähe ausfindig gemacht, die wir auf gut Glück anfahren wollten. Leanne meinte bei der Abfahrt, dass Simon Mechaniker ist und auch sein Freund Pit gleich kommen würde. Das Problem war schnell gefunden, aber leider größer... Getriebeschaden... Pit und Simon haben es aber tatsächlich geschafft uns ein Ersatzteil zu besorgen und eine Tag später einzubauen. Wir können gar nicht oft genug Danke sagen!!! Auch ohne "Schaden" ist der Platz wunderschön, alles gepflegt und sauber. Ein toller Spielplatz in der Mitte des Platzes und als kleines Highlight gibt es einen "Zauberwald" zu entdecken. Man merkt mit wie viel Liebe Leanne und Simon den Platz betreiben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Just off busy main road so no cycling or walking. Owners very helpful and approachable. Bus stops for Folkestone and Canterbury right outside front gate £2pp either way, single. Apr 2023

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely campsite. It is clean, peaceful, dog friendly and fuss-free. We received a very warm welcome on arrival from the owners and a warm send off on departure too.
