Came here with a friend for an early dinner. We were a little early the kitchen wasn't open but we were able to sit in the restaurant with a drink while we waited. We mulled over the menu my friend went for the filo parcels that came with chips and a salad she really enjoyed her meal. I opted for ham egg and chips. 2 beautifully cooked eggs with some delicious chunky ham, not bitty or fatty, and lots of chips. Very reasonably priced and huge portions. No room for pudding will have to go back. Very well supported pub lots of customers both in the bar and in the restaurant.

Not a bad local pub. An ok range of beers but most were oldy wildy bitter types. Nice log fire, nice locals and a good atmosphere.
