I had an absolutely amazing experience during my one on one lesson with artist, Steven. I was extremely nervous going in as a complete makeup novice, but he provided really patient support and helped me to understand exactly what to do every day, including how to dress my look up and down. I’m now much more confident in my skills and I’m experimenting with a whole range of options. From start to finish, an excellent service I’d recommend to any novice!

I attended 2 week IMA foundation course with no prior makeup or beauty related education and had the best experience ever. Tutors are exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive, they adapt to each student’s needs and ways of learning in no time making everyone feel welcome as well as creating a safe space for students to grow. Training professionally in makeup artistry is by far one of the toughest technical challenges I've ever given myself. I am so glad I went to The Central School of Makeup as, although they were super-strict and thorough, I now have an excellent understanding of why and how which has given me wings and freedom in my artistry. The teachers are just excellent; they are beyond the best in their various fields and all of them have serious mileage in retail, pro makeup, LFW and international makeup artistry at Vogue cover level as well as theatre and TV. I have no idea why they would want to spend days teaching Luddites like me! But I am so glad they do. This was such a rewarding experience. I made some great friends, discovered so many new ideas and methods and worked with some interesting (not say stunning) models. Loved, loved this course and all the colour theory too. The science and techniques were truly absorbing. I've since booked more one-on-one courses and am so proud to have started my pro makeup artist journey from the best place. Very proud to be an IMA and graduate of The Central Makeup School. Forget TikTok and Instagram and the online tutorials ; if you are serious about the transformative power of makeup, come here.

Completed my 2 week IMA at central school of Make Up . What an experience ! I came in knowing very little and starting from scratch . My course was mixed ability and did have others with more experience but at no point did I feel out of my depth. They take you through at the pace that's right not only for you but for everyone . The teachers are insanely supportive & knowledgeable, the other students were a fabulous group to be part of an you really get to know each other over the 2 weeks . I've been back since passing for some masterclass's and have my eye on the creative course next ! Highly recommend the school 🖤 Thank You CSOM x Service: Private lessons
