    It is hard to believe how bad this company is, I service kitchen goods and nearly ever time I have to deal with CDA I have some kind of issue, Example I ordered a part online today and got to payment page, I did security checks with SMS code (which I did) the money is showing as leaving on my credit card statement but on CDA website it shows as "Awaiting payment" their phone system is complete joke, Automatic voice goes waiting time is 2 mins then says 1 min then says 2 mins again and then just keeps saying 2 mins until you eventually decide to give up. I emailed them but got ignored so in the end I am having to dispute the transaction with my credit card company (which takes pages of forms to fill in) they are so unprofessional. So yeah as a service engineer I would advise avoiding this company like the plague.

    I have an integrated freezer bought in November and a drawer has come apart due to faulty manufacture, however I have been told verbally that this is not covered under the 5 year warranty period and the email I have sent to them 3 weeks ago remains unanswered - I have requested call backs and am still waiting

    Shocking customer repair service. Our dishwasher was still under the 5 year warranty for parts. So after pre paying £119 for labor on 16th November 2020 an engineer visited us and said a mouse had chewed through the hose. ( We have two very rambunctious cats and we can not find any mouse droppings).... The engineer later returned and fitted the new hose, only to find the dishwasher would now not pump out the water. He told us he would return later and replace the pump. This is where the problems begin. We kept calling customer services, spending hours waiting to talk to an operator, eventually talking to a person who would ‘get back to us’.... it never happened until.... Eventually on 27th January, more than 2 months later, we managed to get a call back from the ‘resolution’ centre, only to be told their engineer has now diagnosed the mouse has nested in the motor of the dish washer and therefore the price of the parts will not be covered..... Go figure!

    Would not advise buying any products from cda had nothing but problems with our fridge and freezer and the customer care is appalling!! After large cracks appeared in fridge was just offered a discount on a new one !!! Plus endless faults with freezer . Would never buy or recommend to anyone

    STAY AWAY !!!!! Worst service ive ever had in my entire life. Bought a kitchen through Wren and was advised to go for a CDA fridge. Had the kitchen installed in February 22 and by August 22 the fridge had stopped working. Rang them, they sent an engineer out 10 days later. The engineer couldnt check the fridge as he was not allowed to remove the fridge from the kitchen unit as per his company policy. He asked us to take it out and would come back 2 days later. We did this and he didnt come after 2 days but another 7 days. He refilled the Gas in the fridge and got it working again, this lasted about 3 days. On the phone to CDA again, bearing in mind each call takes about 30 mins to get through to someone. They have now promised a new replacement fridge. 10 days later and a company shows up with the new fridge. Unwraps the packaging and find the fridge was damaged. They said they couldnt install it and had to take it back. 7 weeks now without a fridge. Absolutely unacceptable service. We rang them and was adamant we get refunded as i had lost complete faith in this company at this point. Eventually they agreed a refund which was processed 7 days later. I have never in my life experienced such poor service from a company like this. Absolutely appauling. They need to be investigated by trading standards and watchdog. Surely they can think going without an essential item like a fridge for nearly 2 months is acceptable service. Read the other reviews and STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!! You have been warned.

    If I could leave zero stars, I would. We ordered two appliances from CDA. One was broken on arrival and we were sent a replacement part quite quickly, so on that front I cannot complain as the after sales service was good and fast. However, the other item is a gas hob. We bought the unit and had to pay a gas engineer to install it. The hob has since proved faulty, with one of the burners not lighting (this has since evolved to be two of the burners). I contacted CDA to arrange for an engineer. The engineer arrived and adjusted the buttons so the hob worked again for a time. Since then it simply won't light at all. I again contacted CDA. I was told that the hob would need to be replaced. Then I was told this was incorrect and that it would need to be repaired as before. Then, again that it could only be replaced. To be fair, the customer service team were always polite and helpful on the phone, it was just that the messages I received were mixed. This back and fourth carried on for a while. I have since contacted the supplier to arrange for delivery and have been told that CDA have in fact cancelled the order with them. I appreciate the issue was ongoing for some time, but I did not receive any communication from CDA that they were cancelling the order. I also raised with CDA the issue of how I was expected to hand over the old hob for the replacement. This would mean either having a gas engineer camping in my house for the long delivery window so they could uninstall and then re-install the hob, or paying them to come out twice. CDA refused to have anything to do with the removal or installation, quoting their Ts&Cs. This is a faulty product they have provided. It is unacceptable to expect the customer to bear significant extra cost due to their shortcomings. I was eventually offered £50 towards the installation cost. Anyone who has had to call out an engineer will appreciate this is insufficient. Overall I have had a terrible experience with this company and would positively encourage customers to look elsewhere. It is a shame as the products they sell look great and cover a good range. This could have been an entirely different review had the customer service team been singing from the same hymn sheet, and had the impropriety of expecting customers to foot the bill for faulty products not been so prevalent. I have tried to be fair in this review. I welcome a response from CDA.
