Honestly, I had a really bad experience here. I left my cat here when my tenancy ended, whilst looking for a new property. It was a really stressful time. During this time, my cat fell ill. The owner refused to follow my instructions to take him to the PDSA, and instead took him to her own vets. I asked for her to let me know the appointment time, and to let me speak to the vet during the appointment. However, she only told me of the appointment after it had happened. I later found out via the vet practice that she had told the vet not to call me. When I questioned why she did not tell me about the appointment, she said that she 'had a life, and can't drop everything for an appointment'. Despite me asking her not to, she also continued to feed my cat treats and even had the cheek to say she was 'spending a fortune on them' as though I had authorised it. She also regularly took him out of the pen to meet other customers. She also spoke badly about other customers. She was extremely patronising, seemed to have poor judgement and didn't seem at all qualified. It also transpired that she took several photos of my cat in one sitting, and then sent them to me over a period of a few days, instead of one every day. She was often very intense, and would go overboard being 'helpful' which was odd considering she wasn't able to manage the basics. She also tried to end the agreed time early, as I did not reply to her messages quickly enough. She also accused me of under paying her, and we had to sit down and go over the sums for a 10 minutes to show that actually I had over paid. She also told me that she has a bad relationship with her vets, and has shouted at them before. Her extreme mood changes made me feel really nervous. Her cats looked well cared for, but I was concerned because one was ill and shortly after my cat arrived he started displaying similar symptoms. I didn't once see her wash her hands between interacting with her cat and going to tend to mine, during visits. She once shouted at me and acted as though he was her cat! The worst thing of all, is she said to me that I should be grateful that she was a nice person, as she was considering giving him away as I hadn't messaged her back quicker enough!! I have the messages as proof. A genuinely horrible experience. She seemed nice at first, but this is about money for her. If you question her on anything, she will likely turn on you. She said herself, she has a nasty streak. The grounds were lovely, but your cats and you deserve openness and honesty. You shouldn't feel scared of upsetting the person looking after your precious pets. Be wary.

Zoe looked after my cat for a week and I wouldn't trust anyone else besides her. She's very warm and welcoming and had a really nice home set up for my cat. I received daily updates on how he was doing which was really comforting especially as it was the first time I'd put my cat in a cattery. I will definitely return to Zoe in the future.

Really impressed with the standard of this cattery and I chose it for how large the accommodation is for my cat. The lady who runs it was lovely and can tell she adores cats so I felt at ease to leave my cat with her. She had a lovely stay and was like she had her own mini holiday.
