I always find the castle very friendly and welcoming. All the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The bar maid Ellie is very professional and a beautiful soul . I’ve never had a bad meal there either

Not a nice pub. Run down and dirty inside & out, food was not good, even my coke was flat. The manager here is rude and serves the locals first who need a good wash themselves. There are much nicer places to eat nearby! Avoid.

Brilliant local pub, lovely food and a wide choice of drinks at reasonable prices. The staff are polite & helpful and the pub is clean with ample parking. There is always something going on from Jamming nights, quiz nights, poker nights, book club, games night, Karaoke, live bands and a disco night.
