Amazing location for climbing. Lots of bouldering options in multiple rooms. The shoe rental, store and cafe have now all been combined outside opposite the main entrance. New outdoors wall seems like it will be opening soon.

It's a fantastic gym particularly in the summer when the outdoor climbing area is open, it has however been closed for a long time, unfortunately they don't seem to sure if when it will reopen very keen to revisit but can't confirm when that will be because they can't confirm when it will be ready. Even so if you want a quirky climbing gym in a converted victorian water treatment plant your not going to find one better than the Castle. PS ill up to 5 stars when I see the outdoor area reopen
