Love this shop, used them several times over the last 3 years or so. Loads to choose from for custom ordering and off cuts aplenty. AJ and Dom even arranged screeding of my kitchen floor. Fitters pleasant and helpful (just remember to get them to take rubbish away). Will use you again for the rest of my flooring needs in my new home. Thanks

Had our hallway and lounge done today with these absolutely love it very happy would recommend tidied all the loose carpet up leaving us just to hoover sitting here now room transformed would definatly recommend will be back for remnents for bedrooms 👍👍👍

Loving our newly laid carpets in our front and back bedrooms. We also purchased a new bed and mattress from The Carpet Stop to complete our back bedroom which is so comfortable and compliments our room. I can highly recommend the sales/install team at Derby. Very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend 5 stars+

Avoid at all costs. Worst experience ever had with floor fitters. Biggest regret giving them my money. Due to one mattress on its side and a tiny chest of empty bedside drawers which took me one mimiute to move, they left. Ran off telling a lie. The job i was told would take a day ,took 2 due to them clearing off and not sinply saying " plesse can you move the mattresses and tiny empty drawers into the other room, they cleared off telling a lie they had to get something. I had to chase this up at the shop, shop knew nothing about it so did they expect me to sit waiting all day for them to come back.? turns out once located they were doing next house. It took me one minute to move the mattress out the room. There was 6 of us there, the managers excuse for this was " its not their job to ask ". Like what ? Are they 5? they never asked, just lied and cleared off. As a single parent suffering with difficult circumstances at the moment ,I had no idea a tiny chest of drawers and a mattress would cause a job to be cancelled. The angry manager who shouted at me down the phone ( great customer services ) said I'd get no compensation, not even a good will jestire of so much as £50, for loosing 2 whole days my entire next day plans ruined because they were so slow and cleared of dishonestly. They could easily of started on empy hallway but ran off! Unless you have a totally empty property, don't bother as these fitters will only work in a completely empty room. Something most people cannot achieve. They left me with HUGE pile of rubbish ,boxes ,cut offs and ends to get rid of myself ( wish i could add photo, apparently they have no bins!) When asked via WhatsApp if I was happy with job so far and I explained what had happened, including a series of bare faced lies I caught the fitters out on, including laughing at me when I called the shop about if they take waste if i pay, I was point blank IGNORED . Zero proffesionalism. I've never had fitters lie, work so slow, say they won't move furniture but then I see them moving my sons bed across the big room one point, I have never been spoken to in such a rude vile way, yelling at me down the phone.and yelling over me as I'm.trying to talk Yes, the manager. The manager yelling at a customer down the phone and I am female as well. I genuinely worry about his wife. Turns out they did a bad job as a bar has already come up and it was only done a month ago. I could not recommend this place any less and will be looking into this further. Please avoid if you want pleasant professional staff and dont want fitters that look at you like scum and are rude. And bare face lie. Nothing worse than liars ( oh and a person in charge of a shop that yells over a woman).stay well away and give your money to professionals. Damian was the only proffesional person there out everyone I dealt with, had customer service skills but is unfortunately a good seed amongst a bunch of rotte eggs who I dealt with. STAY WELL CLEAR IS MY ADVICE or you may be seriously regretting it like me. Worst service ever experienced and I expect the higher ratings are friends and family, paid for ,or someome who started off with an empty house or had a house big enough to totally clear a room as these dainty guys can't work round a couple of tiny items. Ironically they wanted 2 clear rooms, yet the third room moved stuff around after big speach saying they can't move anything. Contradictory or what.? The hallway was totally clear. Why not start there and " communicate" to move the couple of items. But no. Ran off. Lied. Ruined my sons only day out the next day. And according to the manager " that's my fault ". Stay well away from this man and his terrible business.

We had a really good experience with The Carpet stop. Had help in the shop with picking the right carpet and Elaine also helped us stay within budget, didn't have to wait long for a fitting date either. Carpet was fitted well by a lovely man who did a really good job. Very happy and would highly recommend!
