We had a terrible experience. Broken window, broken wardrobes, freezing cold, smelly and just a general damp run down hotel. When we asked the reception to change room, he refused and said they are all booked.. we said the room is not fit for purpose expecially having small children and mould in the room but he wouldn't do anything and wouldn't give me the managers contact details

Value for money budget hotel. Victorian building with big windows and high ceilings. My room was budget but clean and comfortable. I paid for a single room but was given a double room so happy with upgrade. Bathroom was clean, soap and shampoo conditioner provided along with usual tea and coffee in the room. I've seen some bad reviews but have to say I think they are unfair. If you want the Ritz pay more! Very reasonable price For what I got, included breakfast and free car parking.
