    Met some friends here and was mightily surprised. For cleanliness , decor and service it has to be the best Wetherspoons l’ve been to in South East London . A big pity they are selling it, can only think it’s down to the enormous heating bills as it is a vast space being an old Art Deco cinema.

    Great location, unacceptable service. Having waited for 55 minutes for food is nowhere good enough anywhere, especially if the venue isn't busy in the slightest. After the 45th minute mark we asked the server about the wait who's reply was that she could not find our table. "I was looking around for you everywhere with the food in my hand" were here exact words. This was the same person who served us drinks earlier, so she knew perfectly well where we were seated. The food then arrived 10 minutes later, already cold. Atrocious work from both the back and front of house.
