Brilliant place to visit different quality restaurants, coffee and coffee shops, not your back street great spoon cafe, art galleries museums, quality stores, independent artisan hand crafted gift shops and more. A stunning lovely atmospheric dock with canal boats and motor boats moored up on the dock sides. There was even a tall ship in which helps disabled people sail with thre carers etc with them, A world away from the portrait of the run down docks portrayed in Boys From The Black Stuff of 1980s infamous history. A must for anybody to visit it here all year round.

A wonderfully preserved and upgraded dock area. Safe to walk around at all hours, fantastic museums, places of historical interest, restaurants, coffee shops and gorgeous quayside walks. Fantastic River Mersey scenery.
