Sunday Lunch. Place was very busy but service good friendly and efficient. Had beef pie and lamb saddle, both excellent. Portion sizes very generous. Ordered extra roast potatoes and greens but needn't have bothered - struggled to finish! Desserts very good also. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food etc. Could do with more vegetarian main course options but will definitely return.

Finally made it to Camberwell Arms and managed to get a table for 4pm on a Sunday. Was super excited to try the food as menu looked great so we got a pint and placed the order…till the waitress came back 5 mins later saying they are out of the lamb, pork and steak mains! I mean granted it was at 4pm but then don’t accept reservations for a late lunch if there isn’t anything left - bit of a shame really but guess need to go back and sample the food!

Fantastic food with a great vibe set in the heart of Camberwell. We have been for dinner here each time. The scotch bonnet beef fat on toast and Hereford rump are highlights. The fish dishes are also delicious along with the scrummy desserts. Great setting and the customer service is first class and friendly. We haven’t tried the Sunday roasts but will definitely be returning to try it out!
