We were shown to our table on arrival, our drinks order was taken shortly afterwards and we were not rushed to give our food order, so plenty of time to choose. Service, surroundings and food were all very good. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Lovely big pub with plenty of space, lots of little areas so it can feel quite cosy and intimate. Food is ok, certainly not gastro, service was very slow, we weren't too concerned as there was a large group of us, so we enjoyed the chatting between courses. We were booked at 7pm, main courses arrived at 8.30pm. Chef was under a lot of pressure as he had a lot of trainees with him. We had an issue with one of the dishes, but they dealt with it very well.
