    I have just finished Karen's Baby Massage class. From day one the Calm Space Yoga studio felt really welcoming and relaxing. It was a calm and safe space for mums and their babies. I found the class really helpful and my daughter who was 6 months at the time absolutely loved it. It was great to have time at the end to talk to the other mums as a lot of other classes don't offer this. I'm looking forward to starting the Mum and Baby Yoga classes too.

    I’ve just completed Karen’s baby massage course and I thought it was fantastic. I started it when Thomas was 3 weeks old. I was feeling quite apprehensive as this was our first class, but any worries quickly disappeared. Karen creates a warm, relaxing environment, which put me at ease straight away. The massage techniques are great to calm baby down, the colic ones are particularly helpful! I’ll continue to build the massage into his bedtime routine, as I find it relaxes him at the end of the day. I really enjoyed the course, Karen is a great teacher and it was great to meet other Mum’s in the area. I would definitely recommend this class. Thanks Karen.

    I attended a mini retreat this morning after a very fraught week at work. I have been attending Karen’s regular classes and always find them fantastic, I was ready to have more of that please! From the minute I arrived, I knew I was going to feel better by the end. Karen was so welcoming, the room was set up beautifully with candlelight, relaxing music and diffusing essential oils, plus little treats laid out for us all. The class was wonderfully paced, starting with a lovely relaxation, moving to some delicious restorative yin poses; easing out my tense lower back and shoulders. Mini massages and aromatherapy set the scene for a 30 minute yoga Nidra which I can only describe as divine. I relaxed deeply and finally let go of all the last bits of tension I had been holding on to. I’ve chilled out and napped for the rest of the day and feel more relaxed and calm than I have in a long time. Amazing stuff 🧡

    Karen’s Yoga and Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth Course has been fantastic for me. She has taught the group so much about yoga, pregnancy, mindfulness and relaxation. With a busy life and a small toddler, it’s wonderful to be able to take some time for myself. Karen is very warm and encouraging and I never feel like I’m not doing it ‘right’ as I’ve felt in other yoga classes I’ve done before. I would recommend her classes to anyone interested in developing their yoga practise and look forward to bringing my little one to her baby yoga classes when they arrive!
