The actual bookshop is very old school, and traditional looking! Situated opposite the Young Vic theatre, very close walk from Southwark or Waterloo station. The member of staff who was there was ok she was on the phone while we were there, so didn’t want to interrupt to ask how much 1984 book was. But she did check if I wanted something after a bit and offer for me to wait inside. I opted to wait outside as an mask less exempt individual. I was waiting for a performance workshop in their mini theatre! I’ve actually fallen in love with this tiny theatre! I intend to write something whether comedy or some kind of show! Then hire it and invite my family it’s small and very intimate probably holds 30 approximately! Kitchen and toilet facilities behind the stage. I enjoyed our workshop and the hour went by quickly. My only regret is not buying the George Orwell 1984 book. Having performed at school, although I was merely an extra running around in a decorators white all in one and goggles. So perhaps I need to return to buy that book and reminisce very soon!

Great place for rent for short interview, yoga class or whatever you want to organise in London. Friendly staff. Reasonable price for what you get, toilet, electric socket, kitchen with kettle available. On the back there is a small theatre space so if you want perform some drama, probably it will work well. I can highly recommend to anyone who is freelancer and need some space to rent for one hour or more.
