My friends and I love going to the Bulls Head for coffee and brunch. We love the ambience and the staff are friendly. I don’t like being critical because we like the pub, but unfortunately today, for the second time we have been disappointed , this time with the food. ( last time we had weak coffee in our shared cafetière, which was rectified by merely adding more coffee to the then near empty cafetiere, as we’d each poured a cup). Today I wanted white bread for toast. No white bread?! Then my friend wanted non butter dairy. We also asked for marmalade.. No marmalade for brunch seems unusual. The final disappointment today was that all our toast and tea cake arrived already buttered . This is definitely what you expect these days when individual butters should be served for the price. Please review what you offer for brunch guests , it shouldn’t leave the customer disappointed and not able to have what they have on the menu.
