Under new management and much improved. We've been to the bugle a few times since the management changed, and eaten there twice. It is so much better! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is home cooked, well priced and plentiful. The atmosphere is so much better. I do hope they bring the pool table back though, even if they put it outside in the separate room. That would make us spend a lot more time there! First time I had the fish pie from the specials and my husband had the ribs. Last time I had the ploughmans and my husband the burger. Really good food. I hope they start to get more popular as they have obviously worked hard to restore this pub after the disaster of the last management. I Hope to get down to try the carvery soon!

The Bugle is under new management. At last a good selection of real ales that are kept well, 4 in total. There are plenty of other drinks available of course. We didn't eat there this time but the aromas were tempting. The staff and atmosphere were genial. It's certainly worth a visit. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More
