Lovely village pub. I’m currently visiting the village and was invited to attend a quiz night at the pub. Ashamed to say it was my first ever pub quiz and I wasn’t too much help yo my team who came in 2nd. The pub is quintessentially English with exposed beams and several fire places. Upham is a small, rural village and therefore it seems like all the patrons know each other. Sorta reminded me of the sitcom ‘Cheers’. The menu looks great and I’m reliably told by several of the patrons that the food is very good. I had bangers and mash on quiz night and can confirm it was great. Well worth a pop in to wet your whistle if you’re passing through Upham.

Our favourite pub. Best ale, food, and staff. Nicky, the landlady, is an absolute gem. Warm, welcoming, a real traditional British country pub

Excellent little pub, as you can see from the photo, lots of character - rare these days. Service was super, food was delicious & reasonably priced. I forget the dog's names, but will definitely be back to see them and sample some more of the menu. Worth a visit!
