The food was not brilliant. Carrots and parsnip definitely rewarmed. Shocked at paying £2.10 for weak dilute orange. Other up market hotels have only charged me 50p at most £1.00. so I thought 2.10 was ridiculous. It was weak more or less a glass of water. It's a nice place though. The atmosphere and staff are brilliant

What a fabulous bunch keeping the standards high at this place. A relaxed local full of smiling faces, great beers/ales, happy efficient staff. Dog friendly and dog approved. Turn up for a relaxed atmosphere and you won't be disappointed.

Went to party in function room. Enjoyed it but could ve done with more staff to clear tables and replenish cutlery and serviettes etc. Poor girl behind bar was "run ragged" but very pleasant and helpful .
