Dealt with Chris on three occasions now, the last occasion a week ago. Excellent service. All three shotguns were spot on and the part exchange was very generous. Highly recommended and will definitely deal with again despite having to travel a fair distance to the Gunroom.

I can't understand some of the very negative and critical reviews on here, as I have dealt with Chris on a number of occasions and never encountered any of the alleged problems. You see similar scathing reviews everywhere on the Web, so maybe it's best not to give them too much credence? In my experience Chris and Dan have always been very helpful, accommodating, and most of all patient when I have dithered or asked daft questions. They carry a good range of stuff, and their prices are competitive as well - can't ask for more than that! Of the several gun shops in this area, the Gun Room is my first choice . . . and for a superb lunch afterwards (if you haven't spent all your cash!) Chris recommends The Pheasant at Toddington, just 10 or 15 minutes down the road! Best meal we have had in ages - really excellent.

Firstly, what is all this nonsence about them not answering the 'phone? I realise they're a small business and don't have a call centre, so waited a short while and voila, no problem. People seem so quick to criticise these days! Visited to check out a used shotgun, the guy knew I was coming and was extremely helpful. In short, it was agreed that I could borrow the 'gun (legally ok) on a try it out basis. If I didn't gel with it "just bring it back and we will fully refund you" and that's precisely what happend. No qualms, no arguments, he simply processed the refund there and then. OK, so the sale didn't work out for me, but Chris at Broadway get's my thanks for being straightforward and a man of his word. Highly reccomended.

Picked up a decent air rifle at a decent price on a recommendation from someone else. Some comments about not answering the phone from other reviewers... This may have changed now, I wouldn't know but running a shop myself I have to say... Unsurprising that the phone isn't answered. Unless you have ran a shop yourself you wouldn't believe some of the things you hear at the end of the phone. It's ridiculous.
