Some good publications for climbers. Valuable volunteer programme for keeping crags tidy. Comprehensive insurance scheme provided one is not too old. However, is now spreading itself across a number of mutually conflicting areas of activity (some representative, some controlling) and finding it difficult to maintain coherence.

I use the BMC's insurance for climbing and sporting holidays, and I've never had any complaints. The conservation and access work the BMC does in the background is also incredibly important for everyone!
