Tara is lovely, and has oodles of knowledge about dress styles and designs. Easy going, and knows exactly what dresses will suit but she also takes into account what you have in mind. Very relaxed visit with the most beautiful dresses to look through and try.

The saviour of a damsel in distress. Helston Flora Day is a huge event for anyone with the honour to be invited. Everyone plans their outfits meticulously, being organised ahead of time. What could never be planned for is the complete failure of a zip an hour before the event, with no possible chance of returning home to grab an alternative. We popped in to see Tara (who was officially closed for the day) with 45 minutes until the start. She realised the panic of the situation, but remained calm, supportive and professional, with the knowledge that she was able to resolve the ‘no dress’ situation. Within 10 minutes of entering the shop a beautiful new dress was fitted, with smiles all around. The last minute support to be able to remedy a challenging situation was incredible, and for which we are truly grateful. In the end, the dress Tara provided was beautiful, had an incredible flow, with multiple comments of ‘that dress is beautiful’ whilst dancing - no better compliment for the wearer! The dress was unique, and stand out, and we were delighted by this, when we saw three dresses, which were identical to the original dress. Thank you for being amazing!

I have been to the shop quite a few times to have a look at dresses for myself and for friends and family. Upon arrival, Tara has been extremely welcoming and has made sure myself and my party were made to feel comfortable. Tara made sure she listened to what I / others wanted and our opinions and feelings. Not once has Tara made me / us feel uncomfortable in her shop and she has been nothing but patient and understanding. The shop is always kept clean and everything is organised. I would highly recommend The Bridal Studio and it would be the first place to go if I ever needed a dress or accessories. Thank you Tara.

It was an experience i wouldn't reccommend my bride left in tears. To be honest it just seemed like we were that one appt too much, it was uncomfortable from the minute you asked for the date, which wasn't confirmed yet, your attitude changed. You then kept saying about adjustments taking two months? we were assuming size 12 would fit?

I absolutely dreaded getting my dress. I was convinced I'd never find something that I would like looking at myself in. Because of that I put off buying my dress for as long as I could. Then I met Tara at a wedding fayre, who informed me that leaving until just two months before my wedding was not a good idea and very kindly got me an appointment for two days time. The experience was so much better than I imagined. Soon after arriving I felt comfortable talking honestly about my fears around finding a wedding dress. Tara never made me feel rushed and clearly knew how to help me find a dress that suited me. My time choosing a dress was fun and really helped put me at ease. I'm thrilled to have found a dress I love and have had such a positive experience overall in choosing my dress. I would absolutely recommend The Bridal Studio to anyone!
