My bridesmaids and I visited the Bridal House on 08/04/23 for a pre-booked appointment to find bridesmaids dresses and accessories for myself (having already bought my wedding dress elsewhere). The owner and seamstress were absolutely amazing, really friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to bring my dress along and try it alongside the bridesmaids, which was really fun and exciting. The owner helped me to find accessories and was really patient with my indecisiveness! Reading some of the previous negative reviews from a couple years ago, I wanted to comment that the shop has since been taken over so the experience we had was very different and we couldn’t fault it! We also brought our own Prosecco along and the girls happily provided us with glasses to enjoy 😊 100% would recommend, looking forward to collecting our dresses at our alterations appointment!

They were so kind and had a big variety!! They are also open to offering advice for altering a dress the way you want it. My wedding isn't for another 2 years and they still treated me like it was right around the corner. I definitely recommend them.

A wonderful experience. Karen, her niece and their new seamstress have done a wonderful job helping find the dresses and getting them fitted perfectly for our Bridesmaids. They do their upmost to make sure everyone is feeling comfortable and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Regarding the other negative reviews. We did encounter the old seamstress on our second visit. The lady is now no longer working their. Karen was so apologetic regarding the experience we had and swiftly dealt with the situation by hiring a true professional who really knows their craft. Our third visit like the first was perfect. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Karen the owner and the seamstress. Very professional and friendly team, all the ladies make you feel very welcome & no request is too much. We came here for 3 bridesmaid dresses and the one we all chose is absolutely stunning, not like your typical bridesmaid dress, it’s very elegant and all three of us, even though different in age and style, went for the same dress as it was beautiful. I can’t stress enough at how friendly this team of ladies are, you feel like you’re amongst friends. They made each and everyone of us comfortable, ensuring the dress fit our body shapes. The new seamstress is very professional and knows what she is talking about. She is also extremely friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t be happier with the experience, from start to finish. I did see past reviews and I honestly wouldn’t let it install doubt in your mind. It seems they took on the reviews and employed a new seamstress who really is fantastic, so with that, get yourself booked in to find your dream dress 😊

Well what can I say! Karen and her team are so accommodating. We are getting married this April and we went last year to get the bridesmaid dresses. Karen was fantastic with us all. Very professional but so down to earth. The new seamstress on site is also very professional and knows exactly what she is talking about. We feel so relaxed knowing the money we have spent is going to a very amazing business. Thanks again to all of you and see you in a few weeks to collect the dresses! We are all so happy 😊

This is a hard review to write because I did find the dress of my dreams here and the sales lady was lovely but the seamstress was totally incompetent. The alterations she had done were so bad I left the shop and cried. In the end, with only a week to go, I took it to another bridal shop who were amazing. The Bridal House suggested I "use t*t tape" to stop the top gaping when in fact it needed taking in by 6cm. It was all just a shambles and cost me a further £400 for a proper bridal seamstress to make good the mistakes made on the dress originally and then fit the dress to me.

My sister and I had a lovely experience in this shop! I found my dreamed dress here. The lady owner and her sister made me and my sister feel very special. I had been to other shops and ended up feeling overwhelmed, however, at bridal house they never put pressure on me. 100% recommended.
