What a warm and friendly welcome we had at this fantastic canal side spot. It’s a hidden jem. The pub is well served by a pizzeria and Tex Mex just next door. We had the Tex Mex and it was delicious! Great pub, we’ll be back!

Pubs like this are increasingly rare - a proper local with heart and soul. I saw Florence Joelle perform there on a wet and windy night and she was brilliant. The pizzas we ordered turned out to be the best pizzas I’ve had in this country. The atmosphere was so warm and the bar staff were friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back and hope to see more live music there in future.
