I recently applied for a night packer job there. They sent me for an interview. The interview turned out to be 2 hours of unpaid manual labour. The manager just sent me to work with another worker and copy what they were doing and he just left. After 2 hours of working for free, they sent me to the office to talk the the unit leader/manager. Told I would get an email tomorrow to let me know when I start. The next day I receive an email saying the manager thinks I didn’t demonstrate the required enthusiasm in the tasks (Literally picking bread up and put it in a bag). What makes all this worse is that the manager wasn’t even present when I was completing this “interview”. It just seems like the scheme behind this interview is just to get people to work for them for free. Doesn’t help them decide if the candidate is even suited or not because the manager doesn’t even stay and observe. Complete shambles.
