We had a fantastic wedding at the Bowdon Rooms. The venue were very flexible, allowing us to add lots of personal touches and have the spaces exactly as we wanted, and the final result was fab. The team were very professional and friendly both during planning and on the day, we have had lots of guests complimenting the staff. The food was great from Herb & Spice Would recommend getting married at The Bowdon Rooms.

We honestly don't know where to start.. so my husband and I got married here on 5th April 2023 and from the moment we met the staff at The Bowdon Rooms we were blown away with their kindness and professionalism. This was the 1st and only place we viewed and we are so glad we chose you guys. Allison, Ed, Hèlèna and Amy at herb and spice were all amazing and couldn't do enough for us from planning meetings and making sure the day ran smoothly and even going the extra mile to make us feel super special. We have absolutely no regrets and so glad we got married here. We would strongly recommend anyone who wants a special day to book here. We cannot thank you all enough and are eternally grateful for everything you guys have done for us. We want to do it all again 😊

Had a surprise with the fawlty towers experience. Amazing show - food was excellent and all the staff were polite, accommodating and on top form. Dessert was a tad lack lustre but the entertainment doesn’t make that a mitigating factor. Had a wonderful time and best wishes to all the staff and hats off to the actors.

Being from out of town and our first time there, we had trouble finding the venue even with Satnav, and parking in the dark was difficult as the car park was full and the busy main road had indistinct double yellow lines. If we go again, it will be much easier! The venue itself was lovely, with friendly, helpful staff, comfortable seating (& plenty of clean toilets which is unusual in any theatre!). Bar prices were high, but we’ve had worse. It was an excellent evening overall - Geoff Hurst was so entertaining - and his MC brought the whole event together. We’ll be looking out for more events.

Can’t recommend the Bowdon Rooms enough. They hosted my 40th birthday party and were fabulous. We were extremely well looked after, everything was organised to perfection and from the set up to incredibly neat and careful return of the table decorations my expectations have been exceeded. Helena was incredibly helpful and communicative in the run up and really took care of everything. Rosie was amazing and kept checking in with me to see if all was okay/ I needed anything / had food etc - I wasn’t treated that well at my wedding! And our band insisted that I pass their feedback on as well because they were so impressed with the organisation, communication and overall professionalism. Thank you all
