Generally good, but 20% discount on food & drinks is very conditional. For the discount on breakfast I had to have everything not just an English breakfast. Rooms: Comfortable and clean.

Food was not good at all. We had to send a chicken burger back as it was horribly rubbery and the breading had fallen off of the entire fillet. The second one was the exact same, so only one bite was eaten and the rest left. Informed two waiters and the manager and was still charged for the inedible food (note this fact is not driving the low rating, I am basing purely off of the food quality). The vegetarian chana burger was dry and tasteless so it was also not eaten for the most part. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was good though. Cannot recommend the food at all though unfortunately, which is a shame.

Staff here appeared to be more interested in chatting to regulars, quite dismissive in general and was very difficult to get anyone's attention when needed. The food was okay, but we didn't enjoy the cocktails at all. Overall wasn't a very pleasant atmosphere so wouldn't visit again. Service : 1/5 … More

Welcomed nicely upon arrival +nice staff👍 Clean and comfortable room👍 Nice dinner menu +drinks selection👍 Excellent self serve breakfast+lovely coffee👍 One small criticism is the room felt a bit hot-even with window open......I guess this can't really be helped.

We stayed here for two nights and whilst some of the staff were very friendly upon check in, others were very disinterested (in their mobile phones). The room was spacious, however we did not sleep well at all as the mattress was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. There were springs poking out everywhere. It also seems that they begin to play music from around 9am in the morning (very loudly at that) which does not finish until closing time, so we were rudely awoken each morning. The location is fantastic and the pub itself is lovely.

This used to be an awful pub but it’s made a complete U turn. Had some of the ale from the attic brewery on draft and a nice table of meals. Fits right into the independent food and drink of Stirchley. They got a bit mixed up with the desserts towards the end when they got a bit busy but offered a choice of refund or wait for the desserts they forgot to bring out.
